Inside the control module of the ice maker is a thermostat which monitors the temperature of the ice mold ice tray. The correct fill is 102 to 130cc 3 4 to 4 3 oz. At the end of the cycle the icemaker module sends power to the water inlet valve to refill the tray with water. When the thermostat or sensor on the icemaker tray reaches about 15 degrees fahrenheit the motor cycles to release the ice cubes. The water fill adjustment screw will change the fill time. Once the mold reaches the proper temperature the ice maker starts a harvest cycle by ejecting the ice cubes and refilling with water. If the icemaker module is defective the ice maker won t make or dispense ice. One full turn is equal to 20cc 68 oz. With no ice usage it may take approximately 1 to 2 days to fill the ice container bin. If the ice maker is not working the icemaker mold thermostat might be defective.

Find two small round openings marked h and t beneath the gear. You should notice two tiny holes labeled t and h and this is where you should insert each end of your wire. All components of ice maker should function to complete the cycle. Air in the new plumbing lines may cause the ice maker to cycle 2 or 3 times before making a full tray of ice.
